FEES ( NEW FEES COMING SOON FROM 7TH SEPTEMBER )

When you sign your child up to start at First Steps Nursery we take a deposit to hold their place. The deposit is two times your weekly price. We retain your deposit while your child is in nursery and is taken off your final fees when you give 4 full weeks’ notice to leave the nursery. Nursery

fees must be paid in advance in your child’s first day in nursery each week. Fees can be paid by standing order, tax free childcare scheme or child scheme vouchers.

Extra hour: £12.00

Prices are fully inclusive of the opening hours/session times. It also includes nappies, wipes and a variety of creams. The price also includes breakfast (up to 8:15am), mid morning snack, hot home cooked meal for lunch, hot home cooked meal for tea and an afternoon snack.

Applying for Funding

How and when you need to apply for your childcare funding depends on your child’s age, the scheme and some other factors. You might be wondering when your child will be able to use the 15 and 30 hours of government funding. It’s all down to when their birthday falls, so make sure you plan ahead. For Working Family Funding, you’ll need to apply online for an eligibility code. You should be applying for your eligibility code for funding at least 3 months before you wish to access it. But remember you cannot apply for your code and use it in the same term.

Don’t forget! Every three months, sign into your HMRC childcare account to reconfirm your working family funding eligibility code. If you forget, you might lose your funding for the following term, which means you’ll have to pay our standard fee for any time. If this is first claim your code must be valid and can not be in the grace period.
