Teeny Tinies room for children aged 18 Months - 28 Months ( Approximately )

 

Our Teeny Tinies room offers opportunities and space for children to practice their new emerging skills. We provide lots of exciting and challenging activities that are age appropriate and useful in supporting new found skills.

The staff within our Teeny Tinies room ensures a happy and caring environment, that encourages secure foundations for your child’s development. The children will take part in a range of sensory activities using messy play such as sand, water, silk, rice, pasta, play dough and bubbles etc. As children start in out Teeny Tinies room they will be introduced to colours, shapes and numbers during different fun and simulating activities.

During their day the children can independently select from a range of high quality toys and equipment appropriate for their age and stages of development, such as role play, dressing up, different construction, books, and imaginative play etc. This includes various little tykes toys and a variety of happyland toys, dolls, cars, garages and farm animals.

When children are at the age of 18months-28 months they usually start to show signs of wanting to become ‘potty trained’. If parents wish to start ‘potty training’ they are encouraged to speak to their child’s key worker as we like to work in partnership with parents to ensure that the children have consistency.
