The Early Years Foundation Stage is the same curriculum that children follow from birth to 5 years old. This follows your child through to the end of their Reception Year at school.

Our Pre School 1 room caters for children from aged 2.5 years – 3.5 years old approximately. The environment allows the children to access continuous provision with access to themed areas to enhance the children’s learning and development. Children are encouraged to be creative throughout the day and have access to children’s safety scissors, pencils, crayons, chalks etc. The staff also provide a range of different messy play activities throughout the day such as sand, water, playdough, silk and junk modelling.

Our team of skilled practitioners provide the children with a range of different educational experiences and support which helps them to develop a positive sense of themselves, respect for others, social skills and a positive disposition to learn. Our practitioners work closely with the children to develop their independence, to encourage a positive disposition to learning and help them to reach their full potential.

Children within our Pre School 1 room are entitled to 15 hours government funding or 30 hours government funding. This is available to children the school term after they turn 3 years old. To check if you are eligible for the 30 hours government funding please click on the link.
